➳ You know you’re meant for so much more but you move through life feeling unfulfilled, settling for jobs and relationships that suck the soul out of you. You catch yourself thinking “there has to be more to life than this”, “this can’t be it for me”, “it feels like I’m stuck here forever” or worse, “I’ll never reach my dreams”.
I’ve been where you are and I get it.
I remember being frantic, heartbroken, lost, and straight-up depressed as I hit the “purchase now” button on the first Tarot deck I ever bought in 2018.
I had just ruined my own life with a very poor decision and I was starting to awaken to my own bullshit & all my faults as I began my journey to self-understanding and self-forgiveness.
One really bad break up, a short hiatus in Iowa (of all places), and 2,250 miles later, I was back in Jersey, homeless, on my best friend's couch desperate for solutions, guidance, and a way to turn back time and to undo all I had done.
The worst part was, that it couldn’t be undone.
I was going to have to live with the worst mistake of my life and I had to deal with all the shitty consequences it came with.
What I didn’t realize then, was that those shitty consequences forced me into my dark night of the soul; my spiritual awakening.
It was one of the most painful experiences to endure and knowing how to navigate it made all the difference between me sinking and drowning in my shadows or swimming and rising out of my darkness.
Needless to say, I was a drowning, desperate, hot mess trying to find a way to swim out.
I realized I had only arrived at such a shitty place because I allowed it to happen.
I was so disconnected from myself & my intuition that I blindly and recklessly destroyed my life. The one I dreamed of and worked so hard to create.
My fear-based thinking led to destructive actions landing me on my best friend's couch with my two suitcases and nothing else to call my own.
I spun out of control and was completely out of touch with myself. The only way to get back on track was to reconnect to my Soul and my truth.
I had caused so much harm and pain that I never wanted to be that version of myself again.
At this point there was only one choice left; change.
Not knowing where to begin, I dove into spiritual self-discovery.
I tried everything from spiritual self-help books and podcasts to sound baths and though those were all helpful on my journey, something was still missing.
I needed a better way to understand and most importantly help myself.
It wasn't until I got my first Tarot deck in the mail, ran upstairs, opened it, cleansed it with sage and then shuffled it, that I finally felt at home with myself. After months of agony and suffering, I finally felt peace.
Receiving my first Tarot card message, even though I had no idea what it meant, felt like I was being supported, held, helped and guided by something greater than myself.
Working with Tarot is what helped me make sense of myself.
The more I worked with it the more I would recall my wisdom and knowledge of Tarot from past lives as a Priestess.
As I worked with Tarot every day, each card reflected back at me the parts of myself that were out of alignment and helped me understand the root of my shadows so that I could finally face and transcend them.
With every Tarot card I received, I learned more about myself and the broken parts that desperately needed attention. The same parts that drove my previous reckless behavior.
No matter how lost or ruined I felt, I was on a path of spiritual self-discovery & alignment and despite living out the most externally challenging chapter of my life, I felt more at home and at peace than ever before.
Tarot didn’t just save me from myself. It guided me through every step to becoming the best version of myself.
It guided me through my healing and supported me through the emotional lows that come with shedding your old self and transforming into your next-level self.
Tarot was the alignment tool I needed and the key I was missing to be able to transform.
The more I worked with Tarot, the more guided, confident, aligned, and free I was.
Liberation ultimately replaced the fear that once held me back.
My spiritual practice with the Tarot became the most sacred and favorite part of my day for how it helped me finally come back home to my Soul.
Thanks to Tarot I learned to live a spiritually aligned life, free, sovereign and embodied in my purpose - a life I had only dreamt of living back then when I was at my rock bottom.
Tarot changed my life and as I sit here, 6 years later, I realize everyone should be equipped with the knowledge and skill to read and work with Tarot in order to navigate their own life with spiritual direction and aligned guidance, toward their Soul’s desires and dream life.
